A Truly Unique Hotel in Rome, the Albergo Etico in Rome is the first hotel of it’s kind to be primarily staffed by personnel with disabilities. The hotel is 100% no-profit and the objective is to provide top-class high quality accommodation for guest’s from around the world. Occupying a former convent in a superb location in the heart of the Eternal City very close to Piazza del Popolo, Via Del Corso and the Metro stop “Flaminio” (Line A – Red Line) next to Villa Borghese and the Tram which arrives directly at the Olympic Stadium (Roma, Lazio and 6 Nations Rugby).
The non-profit hotel Etico is the result of a synergy created when a Roman hotelier met with a non-profit organization for whom he regularly does volunteer work. Together they decided to emulate the success and inspiration created by the similarly named Hotel Etico in the Piedmont region of Italy… a hotel where people with various disabilities have been an integral part of the personnel for a number of years.
Therefore, the Hotel Etico in Rome’s mission to integrate and professionally develop skills and “know-how” to people with different forms of disability… this is achieved in a real working context supported by seasoned professionals in the sector.
